Our Local Collaborations
Via Red Carpet proudly collaborated with Sportscene SA on the highly anticipated Capsule Festival, a dynamic celebration of culture, streetwear, music, and art. This innovative event brought together local and international talent, including A$AP Ferg, Nasty C, Shane Eagle, and YoungstaCpt, to create an unforgettable experience. Through our partnership, we harnessed the power of dance and artistic expression to drive positive change and showcase the vibrant cultural landscape of South Africa.
International Collaborations
In May 2024, we hosted a cultural collaboration and exchange in Johannesburg, South Africa with the Montreal Steppers from Montreal, Canada. This exchange provided the opportunity for our teams to develop a partnership and share our artistic works. As artistic organizations, we see the value and impact of telling our stories while connecting it to our shared histories. Combining the rhythmic elements of gumboots and pantsula dance with the intricate footwork of stepping allowed for the crafting of performances that celebrate our shared passion for dance and storytelling. Our exchanges of conversations with all of the teams confirmed that the work that they have undertaken beyond the boundaries of South Africa aligns with our values, projects and the work we are passionate about creating.
